HARMONY'S Mission
HARMONY Theatre is a non-profit
theatre company located in St. Louis Park,
Minnesota.
HARMONY’s primary mission is: “By using the creative power of
Theatre Arts we strive to:
- have our students discover and develop their intellectual,
physical, emotional and interpersonal
communication abilities, and
their creative potential;
- promote kindness, tolerance, and humanity;
- encourage our audiences to cherish their ancestral
roots.”
About Productions
HARMONY Theatre was founded in 2004 and has created over fifteen theatre productions, several
short films and a documentary film.
We have staged two original plays
based on World War II stories performed at Sabes JCC Theatre,
an original children's mystery, numerous fairy tales based on world folklore and more. Many of our productions have
multi-generational casts.
We also bring our actors on tours to perform. We have participated at the Lake Superior
Renaissance Faire in Ironwood, Michigan, in the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival in Canada, and in the
Minnesota Fringe Festival here locally.
Most, if not all, of HARMONY’s
performances focus on enhancing public understanding of different
cultures and historic events, and focus on the value of mutual
understanding and cooperation
