Little Girl (Once on This Island)
Melissa VanPelt is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. and is
excited to be making her NY theatre debut! She is a graduate
of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Since
graduating, Melissa has performed at Cedar Point Amusement
Park in Ohio where she was awarded "Best Female
Performer" by the International Association for Amusement
Parks and Attractions. Additionally, she worked as a
performer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Her other
credits include "Lutibelle" in Purlie and "Charlaine" in Ain't
Misbehavin'. You can catch her right now as a vocalist for
Spirit City Cruises out of Chelsea Piers. Melissa would like
to thank God for all of the gifts he has bestowed her and
especially her wonderful husband, Johnathan, and her
beautiful son, Johnathan II.
