Kristen Rosenfeld most recently served as Chorus Master for the NYC-based Family Opera Initiative
workshop production of Animal Tales in Florida. Other New York credits include Raw Impressions Music
Theatreat LaMama Etc. In regional theatre, she has music directed A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the
Ukraine, The Fantasticks, and many others. As a composer, Kristen has written many songs and incidental
music for plays, and her one-act musical, The Nightingale, was premiered in January 2005. After Cabaret,
Kristen will head to Seattle to music direct The Pirates of Penzance at SecondStory Repertory. She
received hers Bachelors from Franklin and Marshall College and her Masters of Music from the
University of Edinburgh.
