In 2008, Kyle-Steven Porter was
selected to be a
Resident Artist with
the Harmony Theatre Compny.  A
born writer, Kyle-Steven Porter
stumbled into the acting aspect of
theatre in 2002 and has been involved
ever since.  His off-off Broadway
credits include
West Side Story
(“Bernardo”),
Rags (“Ben”), The Wiz
(“The Wizard”/”Head Flying
Monkey”),
Into the Woods (“Baker”),
What If…? (“Peregrine the Sea
Witch”),
Carousel (“Jigger”) and
Pippin (“Leading Player”) with City
Lights Youth Theatre.  He has also
written and performed in pieces for
MCC Theater, including excerpts in
Uncensored 2005, Uncensored 2006,
and Uncensored 2008.  His short
plays
Hold The Fat, Writer’s Block,
and Man With Trench Coat were also
performed with MCC Theater’s Fresh
Play Festival.  Kyle would love to
thank his mother (and fan club
president), twin sister, friends
(especially the seven he cannot live
without) and family for their undying
love and support.  With the Harmony
Theatre Company, Kyle originated
the role of "Keme Ohanko" in
Richmond: A Musical Fantasia.
