John Daniel Forslund
Understudy for Rogelio Castillo (Beware: Bernadette! A
Musical Fable)
John Daniel Forslund is excited to be joining the cast of Beware: Bernadette! A
Musical Fable. Mr. Forslund comes all the way from Dallas, Texas, where he
grew up performing in regional and community theatres across the area. He
attends college at Marymount Manhattan College on the Upper East Side,
where he is a junior in the Musical Theatre Department and would like to
give a special shout out to his vocal coach, Stephen Fox, for being such an
inspiration and guidance to his career! Some of his favorite roles thus far
are Songs for a New World (Man 1), Last Five Years (Jamie), Jekyll and Hyde
(Jekyll/Hyde), Les Miserables (Javert), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), West
Side Story (Tony), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph). He
will soon be staging a new production of Last Five Years along side the
incredibly talented and creative Staci Rosen, so look out for us in May 2007!
John would like to express his boundless love and appreciation for both his
families, the Forslunds and the Liliensteins, for their infinite support and
encouragement. He also has one last special thank you reserved for the
cast and creative team here at Harmony, especially Leon, for taking him in
on such short notice and allowing him to feel comfortable and creatively
free in this process we call theatre!
