In 2006, Jennifer Lisette Lopez was
selected to serve as the
Artistic Director
with the Harmony Theatre Company. Ms.
Lopez is a 2002 graduate of Columbia
College of Columbia University. During her
time there, she choreographed several
mainstage productions, including
City of
Angels, All That Jazz: A Kander and Ebb Revue,
and Little Shop of Horrors.  She also danced
and choreographed with the Columbia
esteemed dance group Orchesis.  
Additionally, she has performed with the
Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, New
York in works such as
Il Barbiere di Siviglia
and
La Calisto.  In Dublin, while a member
of the Association of Professional Dancers in
Ireland, she choreographed and danced in
the lauded cabaret
Tassels Off.  She also
choreographed and performed in a fashion
masque, produced by world-renowned Irish
fashion designer Joanna London.  In
addition to dancing and choreographing all
about the globe, Ms. Lopez has served as a
modern jazz/hip-hop dance instructor at the
Egurrola Dance Studio in Warsaw, Poland
and as a ballroom/social dance instructor
with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in West
Palm Beach, Florida. In 2004, she was asked
to join Haiti-Dans, a New York-based
traditional Haitian dance company and has
since danced exclusively with affiliated
Haitian choreographer Jean Appollon in
New York, Boston, and Haiti.  Since the age
of five, Ms. Lopez has been extensively
trained in ballet, modern (Humphrey-Limon,
Graham, contemporary), jazz (lyrical and
street), tap, hip-hop, African (Senegalais and
Congolese),  Afro-Caribbean (Haitian and
Yoruba), samba, and Irish step at  
institutions such as Munsun-Williams Proctor
Institute (Utica, New York), Wild Irish Acres
(Cooperstown, New York), Barnard College
Dance Department (Columbia University),
Steps on Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway
Dance Center (Manhattan), Djoniba Drum
and Dance Centre (Manhattan), and Alvin
Ailey School (Manhattan). For the Harmony
Theatre Company, she has contributed
choreography for
Company, Once on This
Island, Let Go, Beware: Bernadette! A Musical
Fable,
and Richmond: A Musical Fantasia.
