In 2008, Jamie Leigh White was selected to
serve as a
Resident Artist with the Harmony
Theatre Company.  Originally from Clayton
North Carolina, this former seventh grade
English teacher just moved to New York two
years ago.  She grew up loving theatre and
dreaming of a day when she would be on stage
in New York.  Her many experiences in the
theatre include
Dearly Departed, Steel
Magnolias, Arsenic and Old Lace, Meet Me
in St. Louis,
and Smokey Joe’s Café, just to
name a few.  With the Harmony Theatre
Company, Ms. White has created the roles
of "Jill Jane Flynn" in
Beware: Bernadette!
A Musical Fable
and "Amara Hartmann" in
Richmond: A Musical Fantasia.
