Erik Michael
Lightning Designer (Once on This Island)
Erik is new to New York having recently graduated from the University of Arizona with his Bachelor
of Fine Arts in Theatre Production and Lighting Design. This fall, he designed lighting for Journey of a
Woman’s Spirit with Camara Dance Unlimited in New York City and The Woman in Black with the Attic
Ensemble in New Jersey. Recent design credits in Arizona include: A New Brain, Assassins, Ruthless!,
Carousel, The Normal Heart, and Songs for a New World. He also designed the lighting for three seasons
with The Cripple Creek Players, a summer melodrama theatre company in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Erik is thrilled to be working with the Harmony Theatre Company for the first time!
