In 2008, Amber Hurst-Martin was selected to
serve as Resident Artist with the Harmony
Theatre Company. Ms. Hurst-Martin is originally
from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from
Fordham University, Lincoln Center with a B.A.
in Music and Theatre. She has organized and done
the musical direction for two revue shows, Hot
Box and Some Like It Cool, in which she played
principle roles. In addition to teaching voice
lessons, she performs at various jazz clubs in
Manhattan, including Dizzy's Club Coca Cola.
With the Harmony Theatre Company, Ms.
Hurst-Martin originated the role of "Miss Carey" in
Richmond: A Musical Fantasia.
